Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Sakhi, we strive to offer exquisite jewelry and a seamless shopping experience. We understand that at times, you may need to cancel or return an order. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds.

1. Cancellations

Cancellation Window:

  • Ready-to-Ship Items: Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund.

How to Cancel:

Refund for Cancellations:

  • Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.

2. Returns & Refunds (Post-Delivery)

We aim to make the return process transparent and fair.

Eligibility for Return:

  • Return requests must be initiated within 5 days of receiving the order.
  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition with:
    • Original tags
    • Jewelry box & any special locks/seals
    • Original invoice/bill
  • Items showing signs of wear, alteration, or damage are not eligible.

Defective or Damaged Products:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of receipt for any defective/damaged product.
  • We’ll arrange a return and offer either a replacement or a full refund.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Items without original packaging or tags
  • Worn, altered, or damaged items
  • Gift cards
  • Clearance/final sale items (clearly marked)

3. Return Process

  1. Initiate Return:
    Email gehnaghiya@gmail.com with your Order Number, items for return, and reason for return within the return window.
  2. Return Authorization:
    Wait for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions before sending any item back.
  3. Packaging:
    Securely pack the item in original packaging including jewelry box, invoice, and all accessories. If provided, seal the item using special locks/seals.
  4. Shipping:
    • We may arrange a complimentary return pickup.
    • If not eligible for free return, shipping costs will be borne by the customer or deducted from the refund.
    • Detailed instructions will be shared during return initiation.
  5. Return Address:
    Will be provided along with the RMA number.
  6. Inspection & Refund Processing:
    • Once received, the item undergoes a 4–5 business day quality check.
    • If approved, the refund will be processed within 7–10 business days.

Refund Method:

  • Refunded to the original payment method.
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD), refunds will be issued via bank transfer (you’ll be asked to share your bank details).

Partial Refunds / Restocking Fee:

  • A partial refund or restocking fee may apply if the returned item is not in its original condition or is missing components.

4. Exchange Policy

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. To exchange an item:

  • Return the original item using our return policy
  • Place a new order for the desired item

5. Force Majeure

Sakhi shall not be held responsible for any delays or failures arising due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, wars, or changes in governmental regulations.

6. Legal Compliance (India Specific)

This policy complies with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and other applicable Indian laws.

We will:

  • Process eligible refunds within RBI-prescribed timelines
  • Avoid cancellation charges unless we bear similar costs for cancellations from our side
  • Maintain transparency in refund timelines and processes
  • Refund to the original payment method, wherever possible
  • Appoint a Grievance Officer who will:
    • Acknowledge complaints within 48 hours
    • Resolve complaints within one month
